I think only since the last few years does she proclaim that she is pro LGBT and their rights. But wasn't Bill Clinton pro gay? He even signed some important document back then. That would have been weird if she was against gay marriage in the 90s.

Hillary takes no stance until someone writes her a check to say whatever it is they want....guess she got a check (I'd bet my life on it).

Looks like Trump isn't the only business person running for President.
Trump plays up his wealth and business abilities while Clinton downplays her wealth , to the point of acting like she is middle class and doesn't make millions a year .

There can be HUGEEEE money in public service for those that know how to play the game.

Yes indeed.

I was about to post that she was waiting for it to become politically expedient.

If it wasn't she would be saying the opposite.

So when did you become pro gay? I think the change of the church era and Aids put many people in a position- to re-look at their stance. All kinds of people were dying- friends- family- famous- or not, and they had to recognize how many Americans were not heterosexual and were human just like everyone else. As far as I can see since Johnson - presidents might be reserved but not biased- Trump has been the ONLY one making a divide in the American people and he may not be anti-anything- but he is causing others to go back to that stinking thinking.

Why did it take Hillary Clinton so long to become pro gay?

She waited until it was politically expedient.

Obviously, the check offered was not big enough to garner her support. She may be careless when it comes to emails and national security but she sure is not careless when it comes to collecting funds...
