The Head of FEMA and over 1,000 members of FEMA are there. Red Cross as well.

I don't doubt there are many people involved in the relief efforts. I should have been more specific in saying thankfully a high profile individual (such as a president/candidate) brought attention to the disaster.

From what I see through the news and social media is very little information about the flooding.

because whenever VIPs visit, it causes unnecessary use of resources needed elsewhere (State Troopers aren't needed guiding politician's convoys) - they're needed to save people in flood zones.

Kind of. He brought an 18-wheeler truck full of supplies for the victims and is offering financial donations to the people without flood insurance.

Flood victims were interviewed by CBS the other day and some said that there was too much help to the point that they were getting in the way (helping clear out homes).....FEMA reported today that 1000+ relief members were on site.

toys (play-doh).....thousands of hot, uncomfortable Americans in flood waters need toys.

90% of the victims didn't have insurance - wouldn't wait on any check from Trump.....ask the Vet groups about that one.....they'd be best to just go through the regular process offered by FEMA. Trump is gumming up the works.
