The GOP has been co-opting and embracing crazies for about 22 years now, but especially in the past 8. I hope this teaches them a lesson. The US is essentially a center-right nation. Deviate from that too much and, eventually, exactly what is now happening will happen. We need middle-of-the-road democracy and capitalism. The GOP has preached extremist policies the past 8 years and it finally blew up in their faces.

as opposes to Hillary who spins, lies, obfuscates, and shifts blame for anything she is asked. She is the queen of softballs. So, expect Her to be spoonfed easy questions that a 4 year old can answer, Trump on the other hand will be asked to solve Pi.
you're probably right. Only problem with that is he never had enough to win with just his cult followings. He needed to swing the independents and undecided. His inability to do so with situations such as this show him to be unfit for any political office, let alone leader of the free world. Even to the most uninformed voter.
More and more, I think Hard core Trump supporters have a subconscious death wish.
The majority of Trump's voters are voting according to their race. They think Trump is going to put them "back on top" of everybody else. Sounds bizarre but they're in a daze. Trump won't bring manufacturing jobs back. The GOP controlled house won't let him do anything.
