that argument is entirely devoid of logic.
prefacing a term with the pronoun 'the' in no way implies that the term in question is any more of a 'large, uniform mass' than the same term used without the pronoun.
sheer vox-level inanity.
Several news stations tried very hard to send the message that by Trump using the word Hombre, several Mexicans were horrified by his derogatory use of the word and said, that many Mexicans were tweeting and horrified by the expression.
How deliberate, and how stupid do they think America is?
Hombre means MAN!!! Nothing More, nothing less!!!!
Matter of fact, there was a movie made Entitled Hombre, with Paul Newman?????
It is so obvious, what the media is trying to pull.....
Goes with their new claim the emails were "stolen" The party of WTH!
Possibly, Hillary needs to start passing out "cloths!"
Ummm, I'm black and I call myself a "black American."
A lot of black Americans do not call our selves African-American since we are not African, we are American. I have no cultural connection to Africa.
That said, the only thing I cared about in regards to Trump and "the blacks/African-Americans" is that he said that those of us who live in the inner city don't have jobs, get shot at while walking down the street, are uneducated, and live in "hell." He is in some sort of bad 1980s stereotypical movie IMO. I rolled my eyes at his comments on "African-Americans." And I only took offense to me being uneducated, shot at, etc., not that he called me an "African-American."
I know he is speaking to white Americans when he talks about us. Those who, like him, believe false stereotypes about black people.
Wasn't he mostly speaking about Chicago?
