It was glaringly apparent that Trump is not capable of self-deprecating humor. So weird that his ego is SO fragile that he can't make a joke at his own expense. He tried a couple at the beginning, but you could tell he was gritting his teeth when he delivered them. He was only comfortable when he was in attack mode. When you get right down to it, the only humor he understands is sadistic humor; he only laughs at someone else's expense. Yet another illustration of the malevolent nature of this man's personality. Why would we ever consider having someone this psychologically unhealthy as our President?

Trump didn't find a comic to write his speech, he used his regular stump speechwriter.......and it was obviously apparent.

Yeah he tried a couple of self deprecating jokes at the beginning but you could tell he was extremely uncomfortable delivering those. Couldn't hide his relief when he went full-on negative.

That wasn't self-deprecating - that was self-defensive. Self-deprecating would have been if he joked about the impact of actually having such small hands rather than claiming not to.

lol. Trust me, in some cases, the ignore button is your best course of action. When you can't fix it, just ignore it. In this case, however, thanks for quoting it. It gave me my early morning laugh for the day!
