Karen Finney from the DNC just said that the DNC would officially support a do-over or some sort of an arrangement in Florida and Michigan to seat their delegates.

Yes, but a caucus or a regular election?

They implied it will be left up to Florida and Michigan to decide.

I'm fine with this (though I do find the motivation curious).

This is only fair....after all, I'm sure that if Obama had "won" the beauty contest primaries in these states, Hillary would be pushing just as hard for a do-over, so those votes could be counted.

I don't think this is going to work in Obama's favor. Michigan, at least, will probably go the same way that Ohio did.

I think Obama's the underdog here. Then again, that doesn't bother me. I'm an Appalachian State graduate. I've seen an underdog go into Michigan and win before.

I've heard a few things said about "Appalachian State", what's up with the school?

I think they are just hoping for a clear winner because as it stands neither will have it locked going into the convention.

That was a reference to the fact that our football team (which is D1-FCS, formerly known as D1-AA) beat Michigan at the Big House in the opening game of this past football season. Michigan had never played a team from 1-AA before, and they were ranked #5 in the preseason. It was a pretty huge upset. Just injecting a little levity.
