Why not, "What have ALL THE CADIDATES done for you?"
I can answer that.... NOTHING, YET. Last time I checked, Obama wasn't the only one running for president... yet, you still feel the need to pick on the one you don't like the most....
Wow.
I think it's most amazing that some of you are just for SURE that if Obama is elected president, he'll ruin every thing and split the country up.
...uh, HASN'T THAT ALREADY HAPPENED?
The country is ALREADY split, and it has been for years. Decades, even.
The country is ALREADY in a state of a downfall.
Economically, Racially, when it comes to the war... we're ALREADY doing bad.
It's all been existant, folks, way before any one of the three current candidates even thought about running.
But you don't see that. All you see, is some guy you don't like and you want to rant about him.
Opinions.... the best and worst thing to happen to mankind.
I think Senator Obama speaks much about my concerns- and what must be done to 'detooth' the special interests, corporations, lobbyists that have gained far too much power over the last 3 decades. These omni powerful institutions have blocked meaningful health care reform, created unfair trade agreements, and diluted pensions and other benefits for employees. While also blocking meaningful energy and environmental change.
I think Mrs. Clinton has expressed these same concerns. The republicans have created a nation and economic system that benefits the aforementioned groups, and given them unbridled power. Many Americans are frustrated & economically strung out- and what does the GOP promise? 'more of the same'. Seems like they treat the ordinary American like Marie Antoinette treated the common Frenchmen- with the attitude 'let em Cake'.
At this point I am so angry- either Obama or Clinton would at least begin to curb the power of these greedy oil, drug and insurance companies, and their blood sucking lobbyists.
He gives me flashbacks of Jimmy Carter......nice guy, educated, would love to sit and talk with him, but too philosophical, too wishy washy, and too clueless about the economy to be President.
Maybe he could take over for Jimmy in Habitat for Humanity. I think his strengths are in the non profit or charity world, possibly a diplomat, but not in the White House.
He would be strictly an experiment. He's dynamic and compelling, but so untested that I could not vote for him. If, by chance, he were to be elected, I will watch with interest what unfolds.
The whole Jeremiah Wright issue really bothers me, too. How can someone who has reaped the benefits of this country as Obama and his wife have, then associate with someone who preaches about how bad the country is, and how the white man keeps them down? I also didn't care for Michelle's comments on how she's never been proud of this country. This, from someone who could be first lady? Don't think so.

They're ALL experiments. All 3 candidates. Any president that has stepped foot in the White House were all just experiments. Some of them worked out for the best.... others fell on their faces.
You can't say that any one of these candidates WILL fail for sure.

Point taken.
