Bull crap. Ain't gonna happen. The Democrats are digging themselves a grave with their behavior, and that doesn't even count what has been revealed about their corruption in the FBI, CIA, and DOJ under Obama. That's why Newt Gingrich calls the Obama Administration "the most corrupt administration in American history."

It's the reason we elected Donald Trump and not "crooked" Hillary. Do you think we've forgotten?

What are the Democrats offering that is going to give them victory? They are offering socialism, and a return to the days of Obama. And you have Obama running around reminding us all of his failures and his corruption, while he is "projecting" in every speech. He wants to take credit for what he said was not going to happen. President Trump may not have a "magic wand," but what he has done sure had gotten results. Tax cuts, reduced regulations and dealing with the unfair foreign trade policies. He also got us out of the "Climate Deal" which did nothing for us, but helped our competitors.

They're dreaming. You don't win elections by running around threatening violence, committing violence (ANTIFA), threatening Republicans with knives, shooting them, kicking them out of restaurants and other businesses setting fires to Republican headquarters, hiring protesters to disrupt Senate hearings, accusing a well qualified, moral and fair minded nominee of "sexual misconduct" for a prank he and some classmates pulled on a female classmate as teenagers.

These are the things voters are seeing day in and day out of the Democrat Party, and it's a huge negative. A complete turn-off.

Not to mention the insanity we see coming from MSNBC, CNN and their ilk. They are a clown show! And they expect us to vote for Democrats, whom they are? No, thank you!

I don't think the Democrats have done anything to deserve control of either House. They haven't changed their "stripes" in 18 months. They are the same as they were when we elected Donald Trump.

I know a few people in this "prediction" business who are predicting a "red wave," not a "blue wave." Remember, all the polls said Hillary was going to win by a landslide, and Trump didn't stand a chance!

not if you go back and look at 2010 and2014 for starters. It is a no brainer the party out of office usually picks up several seats but to think they will pick up 60 is based on not much. Also read some of the other articles written by the author and remember this appeared in the Hill and I don't care if it was from a Drudge report or from a report in China. it is very unlikely it will happen.

I completely agree. I never trust Drudge. Democrats should not thing this is all sewn up. They need to show up and vote.

If the GOP pushes back against the Kavanaugh accuser and forces a vote without allowing her to testify, it likely will motivate more people to vote against the GOP in the mid terms. Not only Democrats, but independents and some Republicans will be more motivated.

"Deserve" has nothing to do with it. Votes do.

And I note Ds have been doing pretty well in the off-season elections that have been held over the past 18 months. I don't think anti-fa has had much to do with that, one way or the other.

Flake came out & said he isn't comfortable going forward without a hearing for her & a followup with Kavanaugh. He said other senators feel the same way, but he is coming forward as the spokesman for them.

2016 was a direct result of apathy from democrats for Hillary. Trump literally won thanks to 100k votes from 3 Midwestern states
