You have absolutely no clue what it is like to be a single working mother. No, she can not afford all of these things.

This is a two way street. Those selling have to price their products/services to the point where people can afford their products, or they won't sell enough to stay in business. If third parties weren't paying for medical care, the medical industry would have to be the same way. If the only way doctor's, hospitals, drug companies, insurance companies, etc. could sell their products would be to price them for the masses to afford, they'd figure out how to do so. Right now, they don't have to. They stick it to the third parties to overpay. If that was eliminated, the system would have to rearrange itself so that the majority could pay directly, or they'd go out of business. They've bamboozled everyone, including apparently you, into believing this is not possible, and they the government needs to pay them through the nose. This is not the case.
You are arguing for a system that is NEVER going to happen. I'm not interested in doing that. It's a complete waste of time.

As to the original question of why is he hurting the Democrats? Well, of course, as any good Democrat knows, it's the Russians!

The best explanation I can think of (without ever meeting the man or knowing too much about him in depth) is that he's an egotistical piece of crap.

We nor any state is going to go to "free markets". It's not happening. You can argue and argue and argue for it but the vast majority of those who call for "free markets" have absolutely no desire to see actual free markets.

If you want to end the Federal Reserve, bail outs, tariffs, trade deals, I have no problem with that BUT it's never going to happen. Why should one argue over a system that is never going to happen?

So based on this. Your man is Trump.

No idea what you are trying to say because no matter how you take it, it is wrong.

You just said that you want a politician who speaks out, AND TAKES ACTION against unfair trade. Trump is your man. I know your loath to admit it, but this is what happens when you don't really hold a fair standard to all politicians out there.

I'll take gross mischaracterization for $1000 Alex.

Not really Kavanaugh but what happened to Sanders in 2016 and heck....the Clintons in 2008.

Anyone that isn't a complete idiot knows that when you run for office they go all out and that includes fabricating or exaggerating anything they can. This is completely non-partisan too, politics is a contact sport for both party primaries.

It would also take a *special* kind of gullible to think that it's a coincidence that Schultz whose been in the public eye for a long time would suddenly upon becoming a political threat, find himself on the receiving end of allegations about race, sex or *whatever*.

As noted, they've already started going after Beto for his race and gender. Soooo, a couple months ago he was a great guy and now that he's in the democratic nomination hunt he's getting attacked for being a white male. That's probably the clearest example of the hitjobs and hypocrisy...well that and the attacks on Bernie for being a racist woman hater.

Did you watch his entire interview on 60 Minutes? If not, you should - it's available online. He gave clear and legitimate reasons why he wants to run as an Independent. His explanation is resonating with a lot of people out there. The Democratic party of today is too extreme for too many; try not to be blinded by identity politics - this country is ripe for an overhaul.
