Don’t write Pete off yet. Remember, everyone thought Trump didn’t have a “snowball’s chance in hell” of beating Hillary. Pete is slow and steady. His poll numbers are up in Iowa. Just you wait and see...

Yeah, I guess time will tell. I was wrong about Trump every step of the way.

Then why are you in this thread and other anti-Trump threads?

BTW, you said you're an "independent" From your posts you are, it seems, very left wing.

What a load!

You don't get government benefits because you didn't finish college.

You get them because you don't work or have more children than you can afford.

Let me bring you up to speed Skippy, the various mooch classes, be they rich or poor, didn't vote for Trump.

"This is Why We Won...".

You're calling this disaster winning?

This is not about some game. We are in need of one properly running the country and being focused upon the betterment thereof.

This current abomination will not be "winning anything"... ever.

That is what the poster was stating, how White supporters of his are major recipients of benefits.

Are we up to speed, now?

Elizabeth Warren does have a lot of energy at age 70. She’s too far left to win.

We need a moderate candidate who is smart and willing to have a cabinet of experienced people to give him advice which he will consider and take heed. We need an honest person that we can trust to try to do what is best for our country and our citizens.

I pray that we get these qualities in our next (new) President.

Older people tend to rehash the same ideas over and over again we need new ideas, etc.

As opposed to the pompous arse we have in office now.

I think that there's a big difference between appeal and just getting attention. Trump got attention but he had ideas which worked and the powerful move towards him in the rust belt demonstrated that. The Dems are scrambling to say the most outrageous things to get attention. Backed by no ideas or a plan (or experience) it wont translate to appeal imho. Warren, Buttawhatever, Bern and others have not yet figured this out. Americans want a very experienced leader. None of them have that...and Biden?....well he and Hunter boy may as well start fishing.

Sorry, registered Independent. Have voted for MANY Republicans over the years, and even recently in local elections. I have moderate views of what should matter. Lower the deficit, work with our Allies, balance the Budget. Work with the pharmaceutical companies to try to lower the cost of prescription drugs, no crazy tax cuts for the top 1%. Personally, I'm for fixing Obamacare instead of instituting some new healthcare plan.

Right now I absolutely hate having Trump as our President and think he is doing a positively AWFUL job. I couldn't believe a clown was elected. I'm so disappointed that so many, apparently otherwise decent people, voted for him and still continue to support him. All I can figure is that they are not keeping up with what he's really doing?!!
