Orange is the fifth most populous county in the nation, with a population of approximately 3 million, so I doubt that. Orange Co. is too crowded, too hot, and too RW.

In fact SoCal couldn't even keep the Rams. Of course, you still have the Chargers but they hardly match up against the 49ers FIVE Super Bowl titles, but who's counting?

We are conservative.

But we aren't psychotic.

OC is a beautiful area filled with lots of beautiful people (minus the illegal aliens and Santa Ana).

When I was in SF, its like people look like they never shower (gross hair, looks like their all dirty), always trying to make a statement in EVERYTHING (can never let loose), and the folks are close minded to everything.

San Francisco is much more dense than OC is.

Isn't Frisco the homeless capital of the country?

I think they even pay them.....to do nothing. So typically liberal.

San Francisco is densely populated because of it's small area. However, the Bay Area encompasses 9 counties and has a population of just over 7 million, compared to your small area OC having 3.2. I grew up in the Bay Area and I've been down south enough to know I'd never want to live there.

As for San Francisco, it's one of the most unique, diverse and beautiful cities in the world. It's your loss that you would ignore all that just because you don't like the politics of the majority of it's residents.

I'm glad you admit that the overwhelming heat and the crowded conditions have an adverse effect on a percentage of OC's population. Too hot and overcrowded, sounds just like a prison. Come to think of it, they would have to lock me up to make me live there.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones!

What a wad of BS. You know fully well that Republicans are the distinct minority in California & even counties like Orange are now considered "purple" [esp since the GOP continues to decline].

Sorry but the majority rules and in California that is Democrats. Look north across the county line, deary, at the largest county in the U.S. & it is solidly blue.

As far as Bush, he is poison for Republicans. No one wants him to campaign for them b/c of the fear that it will cost them the election. Bush has never addressed the people of California except one time during the electric crisis. But as soon as he stepped out of his plane at LAX, the mayor & governor Davis confronted him on playing politics. As usual, President Bush was unable to articulate anything resembling coherent statements & became the laughingstock in the newspapers/TV.

Bush is despised & will never be able to have a place in American society till the day he dies [probably worse than Nixon - another Republican crook].
