Like norcalmom101 I enjoy cooking. My wife and I just completed a gormet cooking school-great fun!

Dead Horse and I unfortunately and sadly have something in common that will always haunt me. A failure on my part to notice symptoms of an equine disease 10 years ago led to the loss of three very fine show horses in my stable. I was so devastated by this I sold the one remaining animal and had the barn bulldozed.

I enjoy jmarquise's wit. Like him, I enjoy plunging the garrote in to the hilt and twisting it when someone responds with knee jerk stupidity!
I'm so sorry for what you had to go through with your horses. You obviously really loved them and are very sensitive and suffered a great loss. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

It isn't the size that matters, It's your position on drilling.

Delusianne's new thread http://www.city-data.com/forum/2008-...political.html seems to show that at least some of us who might seem to be at odds share something: we are Libertarians! Check it out....

I am also in the Charlotte area so that gives me something in common with you guys!

I have a son and worry about the education system in the country. I worry about what the country will be like for my child when he grows up. I love reading, watching movies, and certain tv shows. I like to scrapbook and spend time with the family. I'm sure we all have a lot in common just maybe not political ideas.

I like it too but I like the animated version the best not the one that came out a couple years ago. Although you and I don't always agree, I think we have more in common than you would think.

I never saw the real movie – I’m not a big fan of remakes of movies I love. The updated Hairspray and Willy Wonka just about killed me
