I think it would be awesome for Obama to be knocked from the race after the convention due to a legal technicality. It would be like a comeuppance for his legal wranglings to win the Illinois Senate seat. All it would take is a "dedicated Bushie" judge to bring this to trial.
I kid you not. I don't know what your take on astrology is, but in April the world's best met in Denver to focus on the rare Saturn/Uranus opposition that occurs about 8:30 am Eastern Daylight Time on Election Day. The conclusions were that either 1) the person elected will not be the person sworn in on January 20, or 2) the results of the election will be delayed due to legal challenges or difficulties in counting the results, probably because the closeness of the race will trigger many automatic recounts in counties, which will ultimately have to be counted by hand, leading to another "judicial election".

Try a frivolous lawsuit as a more likely possibility. Remember the suit is to try to prevent him from being nominated. Can a judge on his own determine citizenship for someone who already has it? Have you actually read the links where it has been debunked previously. Have you seen the birth announcement from when he was born that was in the paper? They are all included in this thread.

Arent you someone who said that the claims that McCain is ineligible are "completely valid." But, when its Obama in question, it somehow becomes "ridiculous."

Bad very bad memory, I think I stayed away from that thread. You have been away to long to try to remember what you can't.
Nope I did post and try to make a funny as you can read? http://www.city-data.com/forum/2008-...president.html
Why would it be? There's no requirement for an investigation. You simply file papers with the election commission.
Well, I'm not sure there is no requirement for an investigation. After all, there are job requirements for the job, sketchy as they may be (age 35+, born in US, etc). And in this day and age, everyone gets "vetted". I think we can be fairly certain that days before Obama is to be nominated, he has been thoroughly checked out. The Dems don't want to have egg on their faces!
To run for state senate or US senate wouldn't necessarily require documentation to prove his "natural born" status. Apparently, one would assume he was eligible, until you start poking around into his past.

True, I'm just saying, it's more than likely been done by now by the DNC.
Barry Soetoro--Do a search on this name. I had been looking for information on Obama. Wikipedia does not have it, but the name brings up a lot of interesting hits. How many names can one person have and just exaclty what is his legal name?
