Why ain't Barack Hussein Obama II white, family members helping him campaign?

I'm sorry, I don't have a link about this, but I still feel it is a good question. Anyone else think about this?

Because they are all either dead or in nursing homes?

Being dead might be a small factor.

I'm pretty sure the only white relative he has who is still alive is his elderly grandmother who is in poor health. I've never seen a candidate's grandmother campaign for them.
Question answered. Now here's my question for you:
Why do you care? Do you need white people to endorse Obama in order to feel okay voting for a black guy? Okay, then how about Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Joe Biden, John Kerry, etc... Not good enough for you? Okay then how about me? I'm a white woman.
Obama 2008!

I'm wondering too. He must have relatives besides his half sister and his half brother who lives in poverty in Kenya. Where is his mother's family? Doesn't he have aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, SOMETHING?

Because they're old.

His Great Uncle (a veteran) was at the Convention.

First of all, his mother was an only child so he does not have any aunts or uncles, and may not have any cousins. Relatives his grandmothers age may be too old to travel. Why does Obama have to pimp his white relatives for some of you to deem him okay?
