teatime, I unfortunately agree with you. The minute the election was called for Obama, I lost interest in Sarah Palin. I'll admit, I'm a bonified "Palin Hater" (even though hate is such a strong word), but I sort of feel sorry how the McCain camp threw her under the bus. I think it was wrong of them and it just makes people more sympathetic to her. I don't know if she'll be back in 4 years, but for now, I'm looking forward to a Democratic administration free of the corruption of the Bushies. I'm happy that my man won, and I pray that he can mend this country back together in some fashion. Palin bashing is over for now for me at least.
I find it interesting that she continues to be demeaned by many posters even though the election is over.
Says a more about the posters than Palin...
I was suspicious all along that the "hate" had much to do with politics. Now I'm pretty much convinced it doesn't. These people resent women -- particularly, women who have more than 2.7 children, who aren't raging liberal feminists, and who have conservative values. The fact that these attacks continue in droves a week after the election and the fact that most of the attacks center on Palin's sexuality and motherhood prove it.
The people who rage against people (often unfairly) about racism apparently are rabid sexists, and they are unashamed about that. It's a sad message to girls and women.
