We can all argue why Black America has fallen behind in almost every major statistical category.

There are many reasons and excuses given.. everthing from slavery to racism to prejudice to white people in general to poverty, etc.

So Obama is President.

No more excuses.

Will Black America change?

They lead in some bad statistical categories like AIDS, Poverty, Welfare, Murder, Violent Crime, Robbery, dropout rates... will these stats change??
Im trying but can't seem to find "black America" on a map.

Seriously, I taught Black people in college.
If given a chance and if they are motivated, they are as ambitious and as hard working as any normal person who is pursuing the American Dream.

They need to believe in themselves and should not wait for people to believe in them.

=============

To me, a vote for Obama's policies means the people have stopped believing in themselves that they can pursue the American Dream through their own hard work.

Dear heaven tell me that someone didn't really write that sentence in the year of 2008. So you think that only white people are "normal people?

When did I say white?

When you see students of all colors attend universities, they are normal people with dreams.

What is a normal person? Normal refers to a lack of significant deviation from the average.
