How many time is he going to say Your are right John?

McCain is eating him alive.

Uhhm, uhh, eehhh

Obama was the first to get mad, his face shows he is frustrated and clearly McCain has him eating out of his hands.

McCain is on the offense and Obama is playing terrible defense.

As I predicted, Obama has yet to say a single thing with any substance.

I thought this would be close and McCain would win it. But I never thought it would be so clear to me that McCain is making Obama look like a 1sr grader who has no clue.

I am totally shocked that McCain has done this well and is winning this debate so badly.

It's pretty clear that noone in this thread can have a civil talk about the debate without name calling and insulting the candidates.

I'm just curious, how does calling the guy you don't like names, further your cause?

Obama is absolutely doing better now than when it began.
But IMHO he is rambling and talking vaguely.

MCain's experience is definitely showing.

I do wish they would address each other as 'Senator' though.

IMO Obama's thoughts are present day thinking and logic, McCains are Mesozoic.

It is clear that nothing will change under McCain, yes he is speaking better than Obama at the moment...but if you think America's values need change Obama is your guy.

BECAUSE HE IS INTELLIGENT. Something you are not use to seeing in a President.

McCain sounds just like BUSH.
It's obvious that on foreign and defense issues Obama is just lost. Sorry, that's not what we need. It's more of a let's teach Obama session instead of a debate.

From the beginning. His response to the first question, after Obama, disarmed whatever Obama said. McCain did so by mentioning that Ted Kennedy and his recovery was in his mind. Not that I care for Ted Kennedy, but that was a great move, since Kennedy was on the news all day. I have no idea why Obama didn't think about that one first. After all, Kennedy is a Democrat.

On the contrary. Obama comes up with all of these crazy ideas, and then McCain deflates the whole thing with examples of how those ideas are stupid. All McCain is doing is responding with a lesson for Obama to learn from.
