pelosi is scum. she has been pushing for this bailout to be done and now she is trying to blame it on other people. that is even more pitiful than just going for the bailout. hopefully both parties will be held accountable for the bailout. it would be good to see all the incumbents get kicked out if they pass this bailout!

I agree, the incumbents need to be removed if they vote for this.

Let the businesses, the CEO's and the people lose their homes. I do not care. My house is fine, I pay mine on time and do not need credit for anything.

The hell with them all. Let it fail. Its about time we stop this spending habit.

Has anyone saw the 2009 democratic congress budget, talk about spending money they do not have. And Jimmy Obama voted for all the pork in it. Wow!

You mean congress met? Wow..who knew? Reid and Pelosi have done little to help this situation......How many times did GW try to ask them to do something before this happened....what like 17 times? Pelosi is too worried about selling her book and I think Reid means well, but it's about time he stood up and got them to work.

Whatever. All I know is that McCain's about to leave Washington astride his white horse.

Are you listening to it? They're talking about companies paying it back-- Not about owning the companies. Reid's talking about Amtrack and the significance of that vote! They're blaming Bush to the nth degree. They're not claiming any wins.

I think the House site crashed. I couldn't get in to get the text. But we won this. McCain's about to start swinging again!

That may be true. And I do believe there are better ways to handle this than with our money, but those gas stations that you stop off at to pick up a girlie mag and a full tank, they need credit. So do the drivers that deliver your food to the grocery store. As well as some small businesses that provide services you use. In fact, most of America needs credit at this point in time. SO it's a silly argument that you won't be affected while society around you collapses due to Congress' inability to listen or heed the advice of nearly 200 economists with plans that don't include our taxpayer dollars.

Isolationism FTW!

A painting of McCain in shining armor striding away from Washington with a win while Obama is in the background on... a cell phone... talking while McCain was in the middle of action.

I pray that McCain's going to lead the Reps in the news conference. If he can manage to take that position, he might as well be wearing his medals. LOL.
