How does everyone think Biden will do at this weeks VP debate. I 'm sure he will win , but he is a talker than sometimes talks more than needed. I thought he was great last night when they interviewed him after the debates. What do you think he will have to watch. What is the topic and how is this one the same or differet than the one last night.? I just can't help but think that they will try something to keep her from not being there. Even if McCain tied with Obama last night he didn't hit a homerun. So I don't see him jumping in the polls. So in McCains nature what is next.

Well, he shouldn't be so mean as to make Sarah Palin cry, but I'm afraid it's going to happen.

I think Biden should explain what he meant about clean, articulate Black people.

He knows the facts inside out...so he just needs to stick to them. He won't have to do much to look more prepared than Palin. If she out and out lies (as she is prone to doing) then he needs to call her on it without going over board. Guess I am saying he needs to be brief and to the point.

2 easy steps for a SURE win...

Number 1, Joe sits there with his mouth closed as much as possible.

Number 2, Let Sarah talk....and talk, and TALK!!!

Make sure there is all kinds of video running so it can all go straight to you tube.

What he should do is keep his mouth shut. But if he doesn't do that he might want to make sure he has his facts straight before speaking.

Sadly, you are right. I wouldnt expect him to even prepare too much in regards to foreign policy or the economy, not for this debate, outside of knowing more about Obama's position on everything. Thats the clincher. I think its more a show of how much both know about their candidate than what they know. I'm fairly certain that Palin and Biden are going to get grilled over the stance of McCain and Obama and how they differ from their viewpoints.

Joe wants to make sure he does not sound, or act, like McCain did with Obama, which really turned alot of people off.

Sarah will kick his a$$ from pillar to post. He is a big windbag and she is the real deal. You will all be begging to vote Republican after she finishes...

Palin is known to be a good debater - when she knows the subject. She doesn't know the subject so she's screwed, but she'll be tenacious.

So Biden will just need to let her ramble on about nonsense and then BANG! Zoom in with a response so filled with facts, examples of personal experience and knowledge she couldn't possibly have, and then he's golden.

The one thing he shouldn't do is do what McCain did - look condescending. Even though it's totally warranted. I don't think he would do that though.

great points. Agree completely. He can beat her with facts without showing up at the debate. All he has to do is rein in the not always appreciated humor and stick to topic and he should body slam her.
