I can't see how Joe the Plumber can have much influence. McCain and Palin should be able to sell their platforms to Republicans and Independents as well as perhaps to some Democrats. The idea that a plumber from Ohio (of course, Ohio) is going to be sway voters is outlandish. But if it does work, expect all future Presidential campaigns to adopt a "regular guy" mascot to be a spokesperson for them. Perhaps McCain tapped into something that will catch on?

Maybe McCain can hire "Joe The Plumber" to unclog the toilets in his 13 homes !?!

That would keep Joe in business for a while !!!

This whole Joe Plumber thing is silly...Obama is right and he explained it well.

If you put more money into the hands of the 95%, they will buy more from the 5% who own everything (funnel up vs trickle down). Otherwise, what good is a low taxed business, if nobody can afford to purchase anything from it?

That would be disappointing.

That's elitist. Because he's a plumber he can't be sharp enough to voice his opinion and motivate people?

If you put more money into 100% of the people by lowering the cost of government, then everyone buys because the top 5% also employ people in making toys for rich people.

Also, this idea of redistributing wealth to help business, where do you get it? Unions have been slinging that forever. Do you have a resource that explains the concept?

Is Joe the Plumber McCain's new edge on the economy?
Joe The Plumber has become a national mini-celebrity after B. Hussein told him he would steal his money and "Spread the wealth around".

Joe will be appearing on the Huckabee show on FoxNews on Sat 8pm Eastern time! That means 7pm Central time, 6pm Mountain, 5pm Pacific.

Make sure to watch. This guy has been mention by both the future president of the USA, John S. McCain and Islamist supporter B. Hussein Obama.
