Isn't that statement basically the American Dream? As opposed to what Bush gave us: The wealthy "top tier," no middle class and abject poverty in the lower classes. Isn't that what Reagan tried to pass off as "trickle down economics?" All that means is giving people from ALL walks of life the opportunity to earn a living wage. And, in order to do that, one must obtain a decent paying job IN AMERICA!

NO.

The american dream is if you want a buck you can go work for it. And if you want more, you can go work for that too.

Is this all americans think about anymore, how can I get something for nothing?

Losers dream. If I can't win it, earn it, or make it on my own, then I'll just take it from those who can.

You must not have gotten the memo. We are now all going to sit on our azzes and wait for the the government to take care of us. We can just tax the rich folk some more and not have to work.

Oh...and we are now putting coversheets on all TPS reports.

I'd rep you but I must spread it around first.

If Obama wins I may have to dumb it down a notch and take a pay cut.

Pretty much for many I would say. Many of the ones who work do as little as possible and rarely go over and beyond. Work ethics are pathetic.

Is the American Dream taking my money at gunpoint and upon threat of imprisonment, and giving it to someone who did not earn it?
