Smash255 - Arguing with these insane right wing fanatics is indeed pointless. Progressive taxes are considered blasphemy in their Mammon worshiping religion.

They dream that hard work will make them all of them rich and they don’t want to risk having to pay high taxes when they become one of the Chosen of Mammon. They do not realize, or maybe they do, realize that elimination taxes from the bottom 80% of the population will create the savings, or at least the market, for the things they are selling. Besides once you have enough money to allow you to eat, drink and carouse yourself to death on the interest, who would need more? Only a true worshipper of Mammon needs more because according to their religion, and their addiction, you can never be wealthy enough.

We are indeed dealing with religious fanatics.

Considering that they have TRIPLED their wealth in the past ten years, destroying the middle class, that shouldn't be a problem. If the government spends that money it could revive the economy

OK, now tell us what percentage of all US households have an income of $250K or higher per year. (Hint: it's a pretty small number.)

Plus, how is it relevant what they do for a living?

You do realize that income taxes aren't the only tax correct?

If we have Single Payer a Doctor will no longer have to provide Medical insurance for his employees, nor would he have to pay Workmand Comp Insurance. Car insurance should go down 50% and Homeowners 40%.

That should make up the difference
