for folks in the Central, Mountain, Pacific Time Zones (plus AK and HI) be sure to check out Saturday Night Live tonight. It opens with John McCain and Tina Fey. I won't say much more. But John is actually a lot funnier than Sarah Palin!

Did you see Sarah? She seemed nervous. John seems to be a little more comfortable clowning around..

And I love Tina Fey.. so maybe him being with her in the beginning helped out..

Actually, he did a really good job (almost too good) as the creepy husband on SNL in 2002:

I'm not a supporter, but even I will admit John McCain did a great job on SNL tonight. That skit was really funny. He delivered the lines very well and seemed to be enjoying himself. I loved the one about the plate collection. Hilarious!

I kept asking my husband "WHAT is he trying to do?? WHAT is he trying to do???" He was making fun of Palin, and it was like he KNOWS he is going to lose the election,& is trying to save face, trying to stay "in the game " w/ the American people, once Palin blows it for him. I have always liked him. I was upset when he lost the LAST time he ran for Prez. I think if he hadn't screwed up & picked tht nutty woamn,he might have had a chance. It seemed like his campaign got REALLY NASTY/DIRTY when she came on board.
