Obama, and the rest of the Democratic party are far too sane and realistic to use their positions for simple vengance. They will distribute the Federal funds where they will do the most good. For some reasons the Republican states will be getting a very large portion of the spending.
..because there are more of them than Dem states?

So, let me get this straight...You are a "liberal" and you are advocating the complete and utter annhlilation of the opposition? In one capacity or another? My My how the true colors doth show. Crush dissent, wipe out opposition and take COMPLETE control. And you wonder why those who lean to the right support the right to bear arms. Thanks for claryfing the "left wing" agenda. I feel so much better about our new prez and his supporters now.

Then you would be known as "One Term GregW"

1) once you're elected you represent everybody. You don't ask party when you do constituent service. You do remind people.
2) even in the Red counties a substantial number of folks voted Blue, and vice versa. You'd be cutting off your nose to spite your face, and making enemies of your now former supporters.
3) politics is a pendulum and the pendulum swings back. There would be payback on the reverse swing.

That's the difference between armchair politicians and those who ae on the ground.

The country has spoken tonight...

It is not just a complete repudiation of George Bush and the Republicans who backed him up to the hilt for 8 long years...

It is a solid victory for an inspirational candidate (Obama) who promises the real change this country desperately needs, who can raise the least of us up to be productive members of society, to make us a united and strong country, to restore out standing in the world, and to take the battle to the terrorists - and to get the H__L out of Iraq....

Congratulations Obama!!! You are the most inspirational President since Kennedy - and I venture you outdo even him by a considerable margin.

You Obama haters - just listen to Limbaugh and Hannity and leave the rest of us alone to put this nation back on a good course...
I can hardly wait to see how ridiculous this sounds a year from now.

What are we debating?
Your lack of facts?

You've spread your opinion (nearly word-for-word) on different threads - but you refuse or you are unable to explain your perspective.

At some point, I hope you realize that life isn't a grade school popularity contest where "you suck" comments count as debate.

GregW - you really don't think that Obama uses his position for vengance? Really?

Wake up and really look at the man - he is a vengeful sob whose attempts to stifle and destroy those who disagree with him are well known and go far back. He's a community organizer - a professional thug.

Also, your mindset is frightening and seriously lacking in sanity - you're actually referring to those who don't agree with you politically as "enemies". What the hell are you thinking?
You're talking about other Americans who have just as much right as you do to an opinion and a vote. That doesn't make them enemies.

Good grief, with an Obama administration we'll soon have enough real enemies, we don't need to be against each other.

I'm not against Obama because he's black or a democrat or even a radical. I am against him because he is not for America. His policies, both foreign and domestic, are not in the best interests of the American people. He is attempting to unconstitutionally grab unprecedented power and bypass the rule of law. His fondness for marxists and socialists and their policies goes completely against everything that made this country great.

As for myself, I will continue to take part in emailing, telephoning, tea parties, town halls and anything else I need to do until Obama goes away.
