If I were the Chief Executive, I would make a list of all the counties that voted for the Republican candidate and make certain that they did not recieve any stimulus money and had all the other Federal money withheld over the next couple years. I am a vindictive SOB and prefer to see my enemies completely crushed.
Obama, and the rest of the Democratic party are far too sane and realistic to use their positions for simple vengance. They will distribute the Federal funds where they will do the most good. For some reasons the Republican states will be getting a very large portion of the spending.

Then you would be known as "One Term GregW"
1) once you're elected you represent everybody. You don't ask party when you do constituent service. You do remind people.
2) even in the Red counties a substantial number of folks voted Blue, and vice versa. You'd be cutting off your nose to spite your face, and making enemies of your now former supporters.
3) politics is a pendulum and the pendulum swings back. There would be payback on the reverse swing.
That's the difference between armchair politicians and those who ae on the ground.

It is a solid victory for an inspirational candidate (Obama) who promises the real change this country desperately needs, who can raise the least of us up to be productive members of society, to make us a united and strong country, to restore out standing in the world, and to take the battle to the terrorists - and to get the H__L out of Iraq....

You're talking about other Americans who have just as much right as you do to an opinion and a vote. That doesn't make them enemies.
Good grief, with an Obama administration we'll soon have enough real enemies, we don't need to be against each other.
I'm not against Obama because he's black or a democrat or even a radical. I am against him because he is not for America. His policies, both foreign and domestic, are not in the best interests of the American people. He is attempting to unconstitutionally grab unprecedented power and bypass the rule of law. His fondness for marxists and socialists and their policies goes completely against everything that made this country great.
As for myself, I will continue to take part in emailing, telephoning, tea parties, town halls and anything else I need to do until Obama goes away.
