It seems mrbob is more obsessed with Obama being Obama than what Obama is doing... calling people names because they disagree is a sign that you are weakening from it... apparently it has an effect on you that you feel the need to post about it... I don't know who Sean and Rush are but I do know what I know, and Obama is not doing the right thing.. socialism is never the right thing...

Obama is doing exactly the right thing - if I had to fault him - it's for not doing more. The Stimulus Bill should be at least twice the size it is...
As far as socialism goes, Dubya socialized Wall Street... If Obama has to privatize some banks temporarily, it is only an indication of the magnitude of the problem he inherited...

Many of their lines are straight out of the Sean Hannity show - 'failed socialist policies that have failed historically' - funny - many of the things Obama is doing mimmicks the successful things FDR did to get us out of the Great Depression.

Money is being pumped into the financial sector big-time to prevent a total collapse of that sector - which would probably put us over the brink into a depressionary spiral - is that what you would like to see???
And bailing out GM and Chrysler are probably warranted given how scared the consumer is - that sentiment needs to be reversed and quickly - and keeping the US auto industry vibrant does a great deal towards that end...
The Stimulus Plan is in no way socialist - it is wise fiscal policy - it's been done in this country for the past 70 years... very successfully at times... and it is an investment in the ignored infrastructure that our economy depends upon...
Some people just listen to right-wing radio and Republicans label people as 'socialists' and their policies as 'socialism' and fall in line without even thinking about what it means.
