Wife and I just got back from a vacation to Spain and we did decide to buy a vacation home there outside of Mirabella. Honestly, we were not impressed with the Spanish restaurant foods (to be fair, I enjoyed it more than mi esposa) but it was very inexpensive. The best restaurants from our perspective were in order, a Thai restaurant, an Indian restaurant, and a Chinese/Asian fusion restaurant. When we return, we will look for some authentic Spanish food that we like but so far, we haven't enjoyed it much other than the olives and vino.
- Fish & seafood, in all its forms and ways. I miss fish a lot and whenever I go to Spain I order it in every restaurant I go.
- Rice
- Tomatoes and fruits in general have more flavour than in most European countries.
- Bread
- Cold cuts like jamon, morcon, chorizo, lomo, etc
Jamon, croquetas de jamon and paella. I love especially the latter, in Barcelona i had great food everywhere i went, too bad there aren't any Spanish restaurants here.
