Anyway, short is not how I would define brits, especially looking from here, but then again most dutch people are like 8m tall, so everyone else is gonna look short next to them.

Yes, Italian men are very short. Scandinavians are mcuh bigger, including the ones form the Baltic States.

Being French in Italy I feel the French are very slightly taller on average. The average Frenchman now is 177cm tall.



Not that there are striking differences overall, but skinny 168-170cm tall men are a lot more common in Italy than in France.


Of course everyone is growing up now, Italian kids are much taller than their grandparents were at their age.

I find it interesting how in some countries people are getting much taller. But in others the average height hasn't changed much since the 50's
