I don't know what you're asking? The U.S. never said it would have zero presence in Europe, and that would impossible given NATO.
Your claim was that the U.S. was imposing itself on Europe, when the opposite is true, and European countries are begging for a U.S. presence. Especially in Eastern Europe, given the Russian threat, the Baltics, Ukraine, Poland and the like would LOVE a U.S. military presence but the U.S. is unlikely to agree.
I am saying that Germany will be always under American thumb in many ways ( military bases including.)
That Baltics/Poland ( and the likes) would love a US military presence - that's quite understandable, as much as it's understandable why the US is not particularly interested.
The US is not there to protect someone else's interests, ( no matter what the US claim,) but to watch out for its own interests first and utmost.
Some ZDF, a left-leaning TV-station, documentary about parallel societies in Germany with English subtitles. Basically, they don't give a $#!t about the German constitution and live by their own rules and laws. They fruits of mass immigration folks.
Problem with that theory is that Obama just cut a major deal with Iran to allow them start their nuclear program, remove sanctions and allow their crude to hit the market. I'm willing to bet the Saudis are not supporting this deal and pissed at Obama. It's no secret that the Saudis are supporting ISIS and want Assad gone and want to hurt Iran. Obama is pretty terrible at foreign policy and wants his legacy to be remembered as someone who brought peace and settled deals. He would much rather deal with US issues than geo politics.
We'll have to see what will come out of all these deals, don't we?

The pipeline theory is interesting however with recent technology developments, there is an ocean of natural gas under the US and the largest crude find ever as well. Combine that with the sands in Canada, the US has plenty of crude, Obama just needs to be able to pass a deal to sell un processed crude on the global market.
So I hear. That the US "has enough of its own oil." So what's the deal then? How come the "plan is not set in motion" for ages?

Bin Laden's main focus against the US was the presence of western troops stationed in SA. Thats no secret either. The US and SA have had a long relationship for better or worse. Most would like to see that relationship end.
And it's not ending... exactly why?

Its not world domination, just a stable global economy. Look at the power vacuum that happened after the Soviets left the Balkans. A super power presence does help in a lot of situations. There is no way a few European countries could control what happened in Bosnia.
Because Balkans were historically a sphere of Russian interests. ( And they would have never handed Kosovo to muslims - I don't think so.)
But Russia has been skillfully taken out of the game by the US in the nineties, ( or so they thought) and that's how that "vacuum" came about, that Americans rushed to fill in.

it's about time the germans are leaving that nazi-guilt and start acting. quality beats quantity, lol. sweden democrats had 26.5% in the most recent gallup poll. let's get rid of the ***** once and for all.
Many of the men look quite muscular and well-fed. They obviously haven't had it all that bad in Syria up until relatively recently (if at all). Why aren't they fighting for their freedom against Assad and/or Isis? Or maybe that's the issue; many of these people are or were Assad supporters?
So in order to be a real refugee you need to be undernourished?! Like, what the heck did you came with that requirement?
A refugee is a person that escapes war, it's irrelevant if he is muscular or skinny.
About your last part, most of them are neither supporters of Assad or ISIS, they're just regular people. And like most regular people they don't particularly support a side in the war. And that's the main reason why they're escaping in the first place, they don't want to get involved in that chaotic mess which Syria's become.
As it should be - what the hell, pardon my language, is wrong with that?
What's wrong with it?
Oh, just passing one's mercantile interests for the process of "establishing the freedom and democracy in the world," or, say, making the gullible recipients of "help and support" believe that the US actually really care about their well-being.
Other than that - nothing Kathryn, nothing.

Yawn.

My point is that the US SHOULD watch out for it's own interests first and foremost. There's a helluva lot more to safeguarding our own interests than simply "establishing freedom and democracy in the world."
What's wrong with it?

The US has protected our country thru Nato since the beginning. Nothing bad with that. The alternative is much worse.
