From what I've heard Lukashenko is the main issue here in all fairness, not the eu even (imagine the eu not being the main evildoer for a 2nd). He is dictator however and it's hard to excuse him, unlike Orban or other politicians in eastern europe who are just portrayed as "bad" for political propaganda reasons.
