"storm i ett vattenglas" is a Swedish term for describing this...

The article does mostly bring up facts, but out of context and proportion.
It's essentially a carbon copy of the lefts talking points over the past month.

The "extreme far right" Swedish Democrats(SD) would be something to compare with a moderate democrat by American standards. The Mexican border under Obama were considerably more harsh than what SD have been proposing to do in regards to the mass migration to Sweden from Africa and the middle east.

Their policies include "extreme" tings like
* Deport foreign rapists after their jail sentence has been served.
* Increase jailtime for gang related criminality, (currently we have people who have literally murdered others in cold blood coming out of jail before their victims unborn child starts elementary school.)
* Strengthen military to meet NATO standards so that we may stand better together with our neighbors when our other neighbor Putin is on his period.
* Allow for nuclear energy to be constructed to meet effect-shortage long term, as wind-power haven proven unrealiable. Also to construct Small modular nuclear reactors.
* Remove special welfare programs that only apply to non-citizens
* To lower taxes on fuels so that Swedish workers may get to and from their jobs and transported goods(all goods) do not become a double-slam in the face of inflation. (diesel price in Sweden is 8.52 $/gal)
* More police officers (we have one of the lowest police per capita in Europe, 8.4 police officers/100k people)

"oh no! such Nazis!, whatever shall we do?!, this is so unbearable!"

All sounds very reasonable to me!

This quote was not attributed to any particular person. Observation about the struggle of man in general.

What are immigrants suppose to all do then? Become Volvo CEO’s and make millions because they are such unworldly gifted and educated?

You missed my point. Immigrants working low-level jobs is very important in most countries, especially in the US. I'm talking about the lack of acceptance for the sake of right-wing political dogma. See post #5.

While scapegoating immigrants themselves as such is certainly not a prudent stance to take , does advocating for more restrictive immigration policy equate to a lack of acceptance for immigrants in toto ?

Indeed it's correct that as the current ( if you will ) value structure of certain Western societies stand , it would be very difficult if not impossible to fill many low level jobs if those immigrants holding them were to disappear , however this state of affairs should motivate a serious societal conversation about reviving the social worth of manual labor/agricultural smallholdings/social welfare reform as opposed to acquiescing to what amounts to an open borders immigration approach in my humble view .

Certainly the reasonable approach to take should not amount to a blanket ban on immigration , yet the other extreme of essentially setting no limits on the amount of immigrants who can enter/doing essentially no screening relating to the cultural suitability of those who do is merely the opposite side of the same coin of bad policy .

And its only understandable that many people in a country like Sweden are more sensitive about an issue like this , given the fact that it is ( after all ) much closer to being a de facto ethnostate than the USA .

False. If immigrants didn’t insert themselves into a country, then that country would’ve still found a way to function without them. Look at Australia. Up until a few years ago, they had a very strict immigration policy and yet they manage to have a high living standard. And the only reason they decided to allow larger immigration lately is due to pressure from other countries to take in immigrants, not because they needed them.
