Munich is a wonderful city! It has both a modern, industrial feel to it as well as an old, German charm. I don't know about prositution, but I know the drinking age is much lower than in the U.S. not to mention good beers and ales there..
There is also a small town near the Alps called Garmisch Partenkirchen. I don't know about living there but it is gorgeous to visit.
Well, I am looking at Frankfurt for a financial or legal job. I was just wondering which cities in Germany everyone preferred and why. I wouldn't mind looking at other german cities if there are job opportunities. Maybe Stuttgart, Munich, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Kaiserslautern, Mannheim, Heidelberg. What does everyone think about these cities? I am an american lawyer(I speak German and have family in Germany) looking to work contracts or transactional work.

Ah come on, what can you really expect from a question like this? All these cities have their pros and cons but can live nicely in each and everyone of them. If you have no specific preferences like needing to live the big city live then I think you priority should be where you have the best options for work.
Also the "American tourist" perspective most people on here might know things from isn't neccessarily too helpful when thinking about living and working some place. I.e. a cute disneyfied city center like Heidelberg is great for a visitor, but won't get you far making a living as a lawyer.
I really don't have a preference between those cities, but I am looking at Frankfurt because of job opportunities. My family lives near Kaiserslautern, so it would be great to find a job near there, but I really do not think that there will be many job opportunities near there other than working at or near the US military bases(Ramstein, Vogelweh). How is the job market in the Kaiserslautern area for Americans? How about Saarbruecken?
Munich - the Alps are only an hour's drive. Most American artists/singers/musical groups stop there -would be my choice. If you want to live near Americans, possibly Heidelberg.
