We've all had/have a starting point with our own road to fitness and becoming a healthier individual. I do believe we should support others in their journey as well to better themselves, given encouragement & support alone the way~... I respect this person for getting out there and doing this! Wildcard~...

Good for her! It’s tough enough to do a marathon, let alone having to endure smugness from fitness elites. I wish her well.

I looked but could not find; what was her time? Anyone can finish a marathon. Not a negative commentary on her, but there are plenty of overweight people who complete marathons, they just had one in Miami and there were plenty, so I wondering what their criteria is.

Good for her, but curious how someone can train for and finish a marathon and still weigh almost 290 pounds.

I know I'd lose a lot of weight doing a lot of running, all things being equal.

Not gonna lie, I think this is AWESOME!! I dont care who you are, what you do, what size you are, if you can do the 26.2 my hat goes off to you.

I know I am not running any marathons. Good for her.

I do almost two marathons a week on my treadmill and i'm half her weight and she's 2/3 my age.

how long did it take her to complete the marathon?
