I started yesterday and I hope to have a drastically improved before and after picture by May 16. I tried to start last March, but I hurt my feet (not due to P90x, but my own fault) so I couldn't continue. I can't say I was committed since I wasn't doing the diet too.
This time I'm going all out, eating the exact diet prescribed, with a few trades for items I don't like (mushroom omelet), and doing the disks to their calendar. This has forced a lifestyle change that I hope will stick with me.

As happycamper would say..."you can't do all of the things some of the time, or some of the things all of the time. You have to do all of the things, all of the time".
My wife and I order it - it arrives next week. We plan to start next week. We are both in relatively good shape, have a home gym but were looking to take it to the next level!
I'm only on my 5th day, but I'm surprisingly alert and awake in the mornings and afternoons, even though I'm limiting it to one cup of coffee a day. Usually the soda helps, but I used to always feel tired.
I purchased the P90X and I can't wait until it arrives. Are the DVD's like an hour each or longer? I read a ton of reviews on it and I can't find really any negative comments about the program itself. I want to hear more success stories!
The DVD's are at least an hour long. You have to add Ab Ripper X 3 days a week so that puts it at an hour and 16 minutes. The yoga is 90 minutes (once a week)......I always get bored with that one after 45 minutes. I can do the Plyometrics tape easier than I can do the yoga.
As Tony says, Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was your body.
