I'd rather wear out than rust out..I work out to stay healthy, 'cause I like how I feel afterward, 'cause I sleep better when I work out, 'cause I sit in front of a computer all day and gotta get some exercise, 'cause I can eat a little bit more without gaining weight, 'cause I feel proud of myself after I work out and mark it on my calender, 'cause it lowers my blood pressure and my pulse, 'cause I like the results I see in the mirror and when I put on my clothes, and...well I could go on but the benefits are many and so good that they outweigh my resistance to NOT exercise...
I don't watch what I eat.. I probably have very poor nutrition, lol! However, I am naturally thin.. but I work out to help me stay in shape and just try to be a little healthier.

My reasons:
1. It keeps me healthy.
2. Helps me stay in the 1 digit numbers on my pants and skirt sizes.
3. It's a spiritual thing for me (I'm 1 with God for the day).
4. It's a hobby (something I live to do for 30-60 minutes).
5. It's a better addiction than drinking ever was (I used to be a 1 time a week binge drinker).
6. Keep my mind clear for the day.
7. People like watching me run (I like the attention I get sometimes).
haha nice response. What sort of a build are you trying to maintain? Captain America? Hercueles?
while the posters on another forum i frequent may call me a twink, i am not going for massive size. more of a sporty look than a bulky look (even though i do not play any sports). i always want to be lean and to get massive, you cant always be lean. trying to gain mass while being lean is way too difficult.
My parents were always big into working out and going to the gym so it's a lifestyle for me but, i'd have to say besides not knowing any different, I do it for health benefits as well as asthetic reasons lol...common, everyone wants to look good right?
Other: Weight control. Which is similar, yet different, from "body image" or "being healthy."
It helps that I enjoy working out.
