I like underwear. I can't imagine going out "Commando" because I wouldn't feel fully dressed.
I think underwear does serve a purpose. For example on a very hot summer day like to day I think most people will perspire and did you ever notice that your ass does sweat? Even though most people (the ones I know anyway) are very clean and shower every day, underwear does get ... ummm ... soiled even if very slightly.
Now a lot of guys don't like the tight restricted feeling of briefs, but there are always boxers and boxer briefs.
Yeah, in the case of men, it can kill your swimmers, and in women, can capture bacteria and cause infections and such.
For reproductive health, it's best to go commando.
I go commando during the hottest times of the year especially when I'm working. My uniform pants are already very warm and having to wear another layer of clothing down there when it's already hot is just too much.
Long ago, my young boss (I was even younger than him), announced to all of us that he was commando, in his suit. I dunno, it just seemed very wrong to be dressed in a nice suit, hanging around. And why he told us, I have no clue, it just made things more awkward.
Going commando is just plain uncomfortable...... the schawnz bouncing around, not something people want to see.... I know I don't particularly care to see some dude in sweat pants with no undies on.....
I did it for a couple of years after I had a hernia operation. I can't remember why I went back.
