I could care less how anyone else dresses, or what they drive, etc.

Honestly....what ya'll don't realize is that many many
times when a wealthy celeb wants to be out & about, without being recognized...
What they do is get an old beater of a vehicle, & dress down, even "poor"
And nobody recognizes them or even looks twice.

Lmao works like a charm

Btw.....my style is boho....
Long flowing dresses, boots, etc.
I really don't look to see if anyone approves, lol

You must be blissfully retired... Or unemployed...

I have to wear a "costume" to work, but even that is casual and understated. And cheap (Goodwill).

"Save it here to spend it there" (in retirement)...

^^^^ Nope, I make bank, actually

I've been told that I dress nicely....
Men think my style is sexy, women compliment me on it.

But I never spend a lot of $$$ on clothes....
The bare minimum is what I wear, & what I spend

Like my mother always say, "It's not the dress that makes you look good. You make the dress look good."

Yes, you can look fashionable for "cheap".

I go thrift shopping all the time. I have found name brand clothes (even with tags) for under $10. My dad got these pair of Puma shoes, looking brand spanking new. I was thinking where'd he get the money from, since he's retired. He laughs and said Thrift store. It was so muddy so he bought it, washed it, now it looks fully store bought.

I think it's all about getting the right fit. I mean, you can be drenched in name brand clothes but if you don't know how to put it together, you'll still look sloppy. You can buy an outfit from WalMart and look fabulous. It's all a matter of how you put it together. Name brands tend to have better quality...so...you know...pleather can only take you so far in terms of looking put together vs the real deal. With that, of course name brand matters...to an extent.

But keep in mind, just because they're more expensive, it doesn't always mean the quality is better.

I think you can shop at goodwill and still find nice pieces.I know because I have. As long as you look put together, have your hair brushed, clothes clean, etc.
