Nope, secure, confident women can wear makeup year round. Plenty of women wear makeup because it is something they enjoy, not because they worried about what others think of them.

I wear makeup most days becuase it is what I like. I am not doing it to impress other women, and I'm certainly not wearing it for men. The day I wear makeup for a man is the day I'm being buried 6 feet under and on my way to meet Jesus.

I learned a long time ago if you wear make-up all the time and then one day you don't for whatever reason, people will ask if you are ok because you are not looking like you normally do. But, if you don't wear make-up all the time and then one day you do, you get A LOT of complements. "You look good today."

The key to wearing make-up is to look like you are not wearing any. You just want to highlight your features. You don't want to look like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show or Tammy Baye Fakker-er...I mean...Well, you know who I mean. They just look like clowns.

OMG, so true, all of this! I can definitely confirm the first paragraph - both of those scenarios have happened to me more than once (the second in my pre-makeup days).
