Got to be the silliest question asked here today. Why is it anyone's business what others do in their own showers? If their skin is healthy it must be enough. There was an equally silly question about scrubbing feet in the shower a while back too. What is "normal" anyway?
i also thought it was silly but it seems for a totally different reason.
why would you go in the shower to wash yourself and not wash your legs? are legs magically self cleaning?
Bath Person here. Use Palmolive Clear Dish Soap (no additives - makes a great sensitive skin cleaner and CLEANS) - shave legs (and arms) daily and scrub feet with scrubber and the dish soap. Have it down to less than 8 minutes in the tub. Figure the shaving will pay off with nice skin later in life. I have an obsession with clean dry feet and like to be clean period. Do this before gym workout and then quick flash shower after. Then off to work.
I don't always wash my back as I can't reach it. Those dern back cleaners are ridiculous. I'm not that flexible ! Its like a ninja sword trying to move it around .
Do these non leg cleaners wrap there legs in saran wrap??
I love the exfoliate. ..then clog the pores with moisturizer. Vicious cycles....
If I were a double leg amputee, then yes.. its normal... other wise... i don't think so. You'd have to go through a lot of trouble to avoid washing your legs.
When I take a shower the entire body gets washed. You wash your feet, why would you not wash your legs on the way down to your feet? Five minutes the entire body is washed and ready for the day.

So you guys literally work your way down? Feet are the last things you wash? I guess that makes me weird for picking my feet up and washing them and then moving on to my legs? I wash my hands before my arms too. Weird, the topics that are fascinating on a boring 3am midweek morning.
I would say it is normal for some people and not for others. Everybody doesn't have to follow the same path.
Absolutely. It is not recommended for everyone to do an intense scrub of all of their body everyday because it can remove the skin’s natural moisture barrier. If you have dry arms/legs, scrubbing them on a daily basis is only going to make it worse. I usually do scrub my torso/shoulders and upper thighs, but don’t spend that much time on the rest of my legs and lower arms because they tend to get fairly dry. Obviously if I am doing something where they get dirty, they will get a thorough wash, but otherwise, they will get a good rinse.
