Do these girls not have a mirror or a friend to tell them they look awful? I see women from the ages of teen and up wearing clothing, usually tops, that are just too tight on their gut.
This look makes them seem either as big as they are or even bigger.
As a 28 year old woman, I would think that most other women would rather wear something that is the proper size AND flattering.
Last night, at a movie and then for drinks afterwards, I saw gals wearing tops that did not fit. People were able to see the indent of a belly button, the back straps of a bra and the skin that was trying to escape. I just dont get it. Not to mention the muffin top that is peeking out over a gal's hips.
Perhaps it is because I am in San Antonio...
I do know that the young and educated and well employed girls that I know would never dress that way.
Could it be socio-economic?
I think it could be socio-economic. Trashy people dress this way.
I doubt living in San Antonio has anything to do with it. I live in Pennsylvania and when it gets warm clothes get tight, women bare flubbery midriffs, wear shorts with saggy blubbery legs and run around half naked and unashamed.
i put my hight an weight in an the people looked NOTHING LIKE or even CLOSE to what i look like.
The point is it can really look like anything, depending on your body shape and build. It really doesn't matter what you put in, there are a ton of different possible looks.

Should people be ashamed because they're not the 'perfect' size?
My neighbor is about 5-2 and a size 12 with thick calves. She insists on wearing capri pants. Not very appealing or attractive. They make her look as wide as she is tall. Why do women wear those ugly pants anyway? Back in the 1950' they called them peddle pushers. They were ugly then and they're ugly now.
You realize we could think the same of your posting boasting a bikini body where you could be 400lbs. Stop being rude.
lol ha ha ha your funny iam in great shape my body is my temple but what EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ha ha ha ha ha ha
I said for a reason and the lady agreed with me later when i explained why i said that. there are people who steal photos of other on here an prostitute sites that they steal or use without permission. fact there was a thread on here where some chick was saying pic was of her an we found out it was NOT it was a porn star in europe . SO if anything i was protectig this woman if they were photo of her so she new not to keep them up. an that my friend is NOT BEING RUDE. OKAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I think it has to do with people being obsessed with the number on the clothing's tag. I bet you anything, if we took all the labels off the shirts and had the person pick what looked best on them, they would pick a shirt that fit them properly.

This might be true, and the saddest part is the number on the label means absolutely nothing.
We all know that sizing is a complete joke with regard for womens fashion. I've got 3 different sizes in my closet depending on the cut and manufacturer and they all fit me well.
EVEN when I shop online and the manufacturer gives measurements for a garment, I find that it is WAY off. It's really quite frustrating!

I'd be more ashamed if I were the person who called someone else's manner of dress "trashy".

This annoys me more than anything else. Be honest about your size chart please!
Really?! I don't know if this is underwear or a bikini bottom, but it is at shoprite!
I would never wear something so revealing to a supermarket no matter my size.
A woman is honestly free to wear what she chooses. What about overweight men and their tight clothing?
But I do believe that certain extremeties should be covered.
