Thats not mutiliation....

A sunburn can damage you more than any tattoo........

Just look at some of these older women who look like leather...

There's a difference between damaging the natural quality and balance of your skin and destroying, maiming and mutilation of the skin.

If you think 'natural' skin is better, good for you! I prefer my skin colorful and artful. It's all personal preference.

I shudder when I think about how the full sleeve young women I see will look when they get older. They can be in denial or be defensive about it now but many will have tattoo regret in the future...it's as certain as the sun rising each morning.

No doubt in my mind that "MOST" people will regreat getting full sleeve tats when they are older...the people that will not regret them are the people who do not want anything more than to work at the local cornor store....

You really, honestly think there are no tattooed engineers, pilots or CEOs? I know of quite a few myself....so the 'corner store' comment is silly at best.

I'm working on my Masters, have my pilot's license and am also going to be getting my A&P. I'm ASE certified in two different areas and have never had a problem finding a job.

Oh, and I worked as a manager of a 'local corner store' while in college.... I guess making 60k a year with full bennies wasn't too bad for a 23 year old. Right now I work with multi million dollar private jets... and get job offers on a weekly basis from many different companies.

Guess tattoos don't hold everyone back.
