It's quite elegant looking, imo.
That's a very beautifully done one! I've seen some good and some bad scarifications. Usually the floral patterns are the prettiest, IMO. And yeah, it's sad that they fade.

While I am too much of a chicken to have something like that done, I think the pix emi_ posted was beautiful.
I'm too chicken too! A friend of mine had something similar done on her leg and she said the pain from the first shower water hitting the scar is practically unbearable! You also have to rub salt/lemon juice into the wound area to get the scars to raise nicely. Lot more aftercare than a tattoo or a piercing, for sure!
There's the good stuff. (Watch out though if you've got a weak stomach!)
This form of body vandalism is nothing short of barbarism!
