I did the math a couple years ago when I had a job offer in Winston Salem and it was an absolute wash.

Raleigh also has lots of companies that use almost nothing but college grads, grad students and interns and pay is very low.

A few companies like Cisco have a large presence but you have to really watch out, because a lot of them keep salaries low due to what i mentioned, they churn and churn and churn interns and college grads and dump them when they have to start paying more.
The NC quality of life is a few times better with more to show for it than here in FL. It depends on what one wants out of where they're living. Many don't mind shelling out tax money to live someplace with more going on than warm weather and strip centers/suburbs.

yyyyyyyeah, you should probably not try to pass off your opinion as general fact.

I'm a FL homer? lmao. Have you read most of my posts?

I shall from here out assume you have no idea what you're talking about on any topic.

yet your opinion does?

Different strokes for different folks. Considering how much you trash the "cultural" and "educated workforce" aspects of FL, it's a wonder you haven't moved out yet.

Absolutely different strokes, hence the mention of my opinion which was so quickly dissed. Furthermore if I were able to leave right now I would, but such isn't the case. As much as a few on this forum try to shout down any dissenting views, it's not going keep me from expressing my opinion. Oakey-doke?
