Bacon?
Quiet. Low traffic volumes. A more rural setting. Close to the Gulf. Nearby springs and rivers. 3 major hospitals. A VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Lots of protected lands. Abundant wildlife. Access to fresh from the farm foods.

Yes. Bacon. Very popular in SC & NC, no?

And 3 Walmarts(your words). To me that place is hell on earth, and I like all the things you described.

Bacon is very popular in just about every place in the country that I've visited. NC produces a lot of pork, but I would never single out "bacon" as something specific it's known for. Texas Pete hot sauce is made here, too. Maybe Krispy Kreme can make a Texas Pete, bacon flavored doughnut. You should travel more.

Not only 3 wal mart super centers - we are getting their neighborhood market stores too.

No need to travel much. Ive seen most every major city in the US and many small ones over the years. I think you are downplaying the popularity of bacon there. Ive been in all 50 states.

America Loves Bacon Festival , Beer & Bacon Festival, Bacon Fest - Asheville North Carolina, America Loves Bacon Festival, Bacon benefits police K-9 at Bacon Labor Day - just to name a few.

This is very true, I think some people who never really had experience making pizza in NY or weren't good at it even there, just set up shop and continued making pizza which appeals to less discriminating taste buds.

Very true, I've yet to meet any people of Apalachee, Miccosukee, Seminole, Choctaw descent.

I live in Naples, FL and my favorite pizza comes from Sami's Kiwk Stop on Marco Island. Hands down the best I've ever had. Check em' out!
