We've been going through this so long I've lost how to read the numbers and how relative they are, which is why I was looking for more a verbal summary, but thank you.

That's good. I saw they were starting to decline but wasn't sure how much so of one. That's the main thing I've been hoping to know. My office had initial full reopen plans, and then postponed them after delta. I'm just trying to see how the fall outlook is for that reason.

August (late) was the high spike... so yes cases have been falling since then. Not every county in Florida will have the same decline or spike. Vaccination rates differ, population ages differ, density differs... etc., but over all yes.

Not quite yet. Monday's numbers are still pretty high but I don't post daily numbers until late the next night because they seem to get "tweaked" at some point after they are first reported. As an example, WOM shows zero deaths between Saturday 9/11 and Sunday 9/12 and between Sunday 9/12 and Monday 9/13, but there are really 477 new deaths since they were reported on Thursday 9/9. If you don't keep the statistics on a day to day basis and only see what WOM shows as current, you will miss the actual numbers. I also notice that the Florida Hospital Association displays the new active case numbers verbatim from WOM without researching. For example, if you look at WOM right now, it shows +6995 new cases, but because new cases were not reported yesterday, the difference between new cases on Saturday 9/11 and what is displayed right now is actually +23,981. FHA is showing +6995 in their graphs which is not correct since the WOM numbers got updated after FHA reported the WOM number on their website.

Number of deaths from Tuesday 9/7 through Monday 9/13 are 2926. I do tend to believe that the large majority of these deaths are among the non-vaccinated since I have 2 relatives that work in Florida hospitals and they see actual cases and reports, not media reports.

But overall, number of cases are trending down. More importantly, number of hospitalizations are going down each day too!
