The three most liberal voting counties in Florida are usually Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. And still in these counties there are many conservative people.

You have to remember, though, that "voting blue" or "voting democratic" does not necessarily mean that a county is "completely liberal"...
Gadsden, for example, is the only county in FLorida with a black majority, which explains the Democratic voting lean. However, the black community is not exactly known for "progressiveness" on certain topics -- especially the rural community. Even Leon County. Lots of university educated liberals, but lots and lots of conservative "old Florida good old boy" types as well.

Florida is not progressive at all. South Florida is no exception. Most people shop at Walmart, don't recycle and don't care for supporting small local businesses. However if you compare this place to Alabama this is heaven.
