We have two deep freezers for this type of stuff, it allows be to make sauces and such like and store them for a few months so that even when i am away my family can grab a tub leave it on the counter in the morning and make a 15 min meal that evening.
Send a couple jars my way!

None of this is me. I don't have an herb garden or freezer space, or even know how to can food.
I can make a decent spaghetti and meatball dish using canned tomatoes, but the sauce relies on the meatballs.

I just want a not-sweet jar of pasta sauce, so I can make a baked pasta dish now and then.
Otherwise, we're eating Stouffer's!!

Newman's own! I LOVE the sockarooni.

Second place is cheap Hunts. It's low-brow but I enjoy it.

If I have to pick a biggie, I go with Prego.

I tried to love Emeril's but it's too acidic for me.

It's hard to beat Rao's in my opinion, love the Roasted Garlic Sauce!

We've used Newman's, Whole Foods 365, Trader Joe's (Giotto's) and Prego, and they were fine.

Francesco Rinaldi. Used to use Ragu but found it gives me heartburn, but Francesco Rinaldi doesn't.

I typically experiment, according to what's on sale, and I never remember very well which are better. I do like to use Mid's meat or Italian sausage for some things, such as lasagna, because there is so much visible meat, I don't need to add my own. I do not particularly love it for everyday sauce though.
I also like that it's a 32 oz jar, and frequently on sale.
Which ever brand I use, I always mix in diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes and then adjust the herbs as needed. So, bottom line, it kind of doesn't matter.

None really. I used to like classico by Progresso but even that's too sweet. I make my own.

Francesco Rinaldi (Made by Italians. Enjoyed by everyone lol) is my favorite, plus it's a local company. As with all jarred sauce, I like to jazz it up with olive oil and a few other seasonings.

Rao's is worth every single penny. I don't use it often because it is expensive, but when I do, I think it is as good...no, probably better, than anything I have ever made. And I am a really good cook!!!
