The old Crisco that made the most delicious flaky pie crusts ever. Don't want healthy when making pies my grandmother use to make. The new one doesn't make it flaky like the old one and has a weird taste.
i used to eat Roy Roger's fried chicken religiously at least once a week when there was a restaurant near my work. They closed most of them down and I think Hardee's owns the franchise but as far as I know the fried chicken is gone for now.
I saw recently an article about the roy rogers chain making a come back.
I haven't eaten fast food since 2008 (I barely even eat out in a given year at any restaurant), but some of the things I remember enjoying years ago when eating fast food out (they may still be in existence) and before I became vegan/vegetarian:
apple pies from McDonalds
curly fries from Rax (is this restaurant even in existence anymore?)
baked potatoes and broccoli loaded with cheddar cheese from Wendys
frozen White Castle burgers (ate those from the grocery store)
seafood subs from Subway
Indeed, frozen White Castle burgers are still available at many grocers, including WalMart. They aren't bad if prepared exactly to instructions. Add your own condiments and they are tasty!
I ordered a Blizzard about a week ago at a DQ in Williams AZ and I'm pretty sure Snickers was one of the flavors on offer.
Maybe it varies by store?
It's not listed on their website menu (which is not location specific). And I haven't seen it at any of the DQ's I've been to since I noticed the discontinuation.
The Jack in the Box Supreme menu was great. The Chicken Supreme was my favorite . I also miss Naugles.
