Oooooohhh.... wish we had Publix up here! Ever since reading about the beef and pork Braciole (meat pounded flat, rolled up with lots o' garlic, parsley and Parmesan, stewed in red gravy for half a day), I've been wanting to try it, and that cut of meat sounds ideal. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and pay the price at the markets up here, once I'm past financials and can actually spend time at home playing in the kitchen.

Enjoy, Noma, and let us know what you and the Mrs. do with your bounty!

Well, the blueberry pancakes, chocolate milk, and bacon we had for dinner definitely hit the spot.

I think one is going in the water smoker....Nice and slow...And another one is going to be sliced into bonesless chops and pounded with the meat hammer and then some flour beat in and fried in some smart balance...some simmered in an iron skillet after browning with a slice of onion and covered in fresh slice tomatoes...I've done it again....I had better go to bed before I mess up the kitchen....If I do that this time of night my wife would not be a happy camper...

Good morning all-another "knee" morning, barometric is 29 so pain kicks in. But today will be 40 deg-and yesterday at 35 felt like a spring day.

Mr. L is off to doc this morning as his Crohn's is kicking up-just what we need a month before going home. Now he' mulling surgery!!!! What he did was eat baked beans-a big no-no. So my ham won't be making bean soup for sure.

American Chop Suey is what he's requested for tonight.

Now I wish it was as warm here as it is at your place Lacey! That's a first! It only got up to 24 tops yesterday and today doesn't look much warmer. Although the rest of the week looks to be in a warming mode!! At least if Mr. L get this under control now Lacey he probably won't have a problem when you go back home---fingers crossed!
To early to think about dinner yet but will post what I decide on later.
