Jessie thanks for telling me about being sure all the liquid is cooked down that might have been my problem with soggy chips.

Nomad I know I am glad you stay home to share yourself with us!

M'smom glad the little one is feeling better.

I believe now with all this talk of nachos I will make some stuff we call 'slop' (1.5# ground beef, Armour chili with no beans, 1# velveeta) then chop up some tomatoes, green onions and top with some shredded cheese. The kids like the slop a little better than just the taco flavored meat. Plus they can use it for after school as a dip if we have leftovers. Thanks everybody for your sharings!

Hmmmm...I sense a pattern here. That's 2 votes for the crab. Depends how daring I feel. I don't always like crab. It's funny - sometimes I love it, sometimes not. We'll see.

My fave grilled cheese and tomato sandwich has swiss on one side, cheddar on the other, tomater in the middle. The pickle should be next door.

No american plastic (oops, I mean "cheese") on mine, please.

Tonight it's a *big* spinach salad for me, with soy cheese & chopped walnuts sprinkled on top, plus all the croutons and other good stuff. Oh yes, and topped with crab meat! Gotta get that protein in there.

I've found a creamy, non-dairy poppyseed dressing that's very good, also.

That'll be later though, as it's only 2:30 PM here on the Left Coast.

Add onion to allof that and you can't beat it!

NMS the other day you posted a fat-free trifle in another thread...could you post that here? Sounds so good.

Thanks
