I just woke up from a 3 hour nap!!!! I guess that flu bug took a lot out of me. Now I do not feel like going shopping for kabob vegetables and starting charcoal.....so I will probably either pan grill the beef or make Japanese beef curry. Rice is easy as the starch (rice cooker) and the curry has carrots in it. So either beef cubes grilled or curry. Maybe the simpler....plain beef and rice and carrots on the side. That sounds right.....thanks for helping me process.

Hi everybody! Missed you all today.

Elston & Denise..........feel better............

My dinner tonight was Special K cereal with strawberries and blueberries, with skim milk.
BF had leftovers... a little bit of a bunch of stuff.
He can have cereal later if he gets hungry. (I'm so good)

I'm not telling what I had during the day today.

I have an all day - 9 am to 6 pm conference tomorrow.........but there's donoughts for breakfast and we get lunch too.

I do feel much better . Enough so that I put the beef on skewers and started the charcoal. We didnt buy a gas grill here in Maine.....got the Webber charcoal grill. Tonight I used real wood charcoal, not brickets and a chunk or two of hickory......no lighter fluid....one of those stove pipe things......the smell and taste was out of this world...(though the meat was medium and DP prefers it rare. Anyway all is well here in our slice of paradise.

Yesterday we had take out food for dinner b/c I just wasn't in the mood of cooking after cooking the whole week long.

So we had Turkish bread stuffed with meat, a lot of veggies and hot garlic sauce. Very yummie.

Be still my heart!! I'm wondering how fast I can get to the store and grab what I need there to make this...
Thank you, Miguel's Mom!!
